Girl Power

Girl power was clearly at work as third through fifth grade girls from Elementary North participated in the “This Girl Can” run at Peterson Park on May 18. Organized by kindergarten teacher Raquel Almora, the girls collectively ran 797.25 miles.

Most Improved Student Award

Feed the Children

The Elementary North Student Council volunteered at Feed my Starving Children. The students packed 79 boxes and helped feed 46 children for a year. Choices

Students in grades 1 to 5 at Elementary North enjoy having the option of going to “Choice Time” instead of outdoor recess from December through March.  The students play board games, do puzzles, or can draw/color during indoor Choice Time.
